Also, some chicks.

There are six in this pic (look in the mid-top left), plus one under Mom. She finally got off the nest yesterday, with three eggs left. One was pipped and peeping. Brought them inside and into the incubator, and number seven hatched there. By late evening it was dry enough and loud enough that it was brought back outside and given to mom. It's currently hiding underneath her, lol.

She's being a good mom, showing them food and clucking to them to teach them.

I like the dark one with the red face. Probably male, very cocky and bold.

Aww...cutie pies! Glad you were able to get the pipped egg hatched! Safe and secure with mom now.

Vet said that Nyx is still pretty healthy but we do need to keep an eye on her heart murmur for now.
She also gained small bit of weight since last time she was here
