LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Ofc I'm keeping the 2 with the poofiest heads haha! I've dubbed them Tina Turner and DeeDee Snyder lol and then the smallest one Babe I'll probably hang onto as well just because I've had to keep a close eye on her fluffy butt cleanings and such
My polish Bantam rooster is also named Tina

Were going to be seeing some colder evenings here for the next 2 weeks tho around 59 and low 60s so I may have to post pone their new member introductions to the flock!

It's like a cool breeze on a spring day temp
Our overnight lows in the summer never get ABOVE 59F or 60F. :p Keeps chicks and birds tough. ;)

Oooh....now these are my kind of temps! We have had 5C quite a few mornings now. I'm lovin it! You better toughen up Wind, winter is knocking up there!! :hugs

I have been wanting one since I moved here, but every year something happens and I can't afford one. So, depending on heaters and warm clothing again this year. And I can't have too many heaters as it blows the circuit.

That's why last year everything inside froze (including me) when the temps dropped to -50.

Oh we gotta get you a stove! :hugs Electric heaters only do so much, won't prevent water from freezing either. Our wood stove never stops chugging much of winter, keeps this trailer nice and toasty. Well if you have to abandon ship, load up the critters and head on down, plenty of room for you here Wind! :hugs
