Oh we gotta get you a stove! Electric heaters only do so much, won't prevent water from freezing either. Our wood stove never stops chugging much of winter, keeps this trailer nice and toasty. Well if you have to abandon ship, load up the critters and head on down, plenty of room for you here Wind!

I honestly wish I could. BUT, don't have a passport (was in the process of getting it then found myself unemployed), and it would cost way too much to get the flock vet certified for travel. Not to mention, I don't have a vehicle to haul my trailer.

I get it. I have a passport but it's not current and I'd need to update or reapply. Takes months they say. I've never had anywhere to go so why bother with it!

Well I am always here for emotional support. Seek better shelter if need be if you are freezing to death! ❄

Spent the day *away* from home today! Well, the afternoon. My friend came over, we loaded ten ducks into the back of his truck and drove an hour to deliver them, and then went shopping.

It was nice getting out for a bit, but I'm still glad to be back home with my critters.
