Do Seramas need added heat in extreme cold temps? We get below zero quite often in January.I want to get some when I move. They'd probably be housed with my quail and rabbits, where there's a heat source for the winters. In seoerate enclosures of course
I remember being told quail can't tolerate extreme temp changes from night to day or it would kill them. We get 30 to 40 degree differences from night to day 365 days a year, even 50 degrees difference occasionally. Never lost a quail. Some people don't know what their talking about.
This would definitely contribute to their flying skills. I am considering Seramas!
. With serama, you'll also never have to worry about a bird looking really bad when they're molting!
