How do you check skull structure?

Don't worry, they're not too old. Or at least they weren't in the summer. Both girls layed each day very healthy eggs, and out of the two I incubated, one was fertile. I'm sure they'll start laying soon. As for skull structure, prominent brow bones, large skull (just as a visual, the pure pea comb is about 1/3 of the size of their skull when looked at from above. Here are some visuals of mature skulls, and adolescent skulls. Pictures one through two are of my nature birds, picture three is their offspring

Only the silkie roo is new. These little girls were too small for my Big Red, so I figured they would do well with him. They're from last year's chicks.

Once I have proper shelter for them (ie, bigger) I'll also put my two splash Cochin banties in with him. I love the looks of cochin/silkie mixes!
