That's great! Focus on the good stuff, and try to "skip" the bad day by not thinking about it as much as possible.

Dental appointments make my anxiety go crazy too
I had a tooth surgery when I was much younger, which honestly is the main culprit. Logically I know that the cavity is nowhere as intrusive as the surgery, but I just get flashbacks to it co Stanly whenever I have to go in for appointments

Dentistry is nerve wracking for many people. I am a basket case any time I have to go in. :D

You've got this!

If you're not sure, you could post a picture to confirm that a chop is indeed needed. If you're trying it, make sure you have a tool that will chop it immediately, instead of having to chop multiple times
This picture just doesn't do it justice, it doesn't really bring out the wrinkles but I don't know, I want to give him a chance to survive but I don't want to risk the health of the other one, growing next to a weak plant?

Hm, I do see what you're talking about. Right now I wouldn't do anything, but don't change your routine to accommodate the poorly one. Best to focus on what the healthy one wants, and deal with the poorly one when/if there is a need to intervene

Thanks! This is exactly as I have been doing, watering these two about every 12 to 14 days even if he looks wilty. I did do a "water soak" about 2 weeks after I replanted them having received them, but I didn't want to compromise the healthy plant by doing this again. I figured if he croaked I could just pluck him out of there. These guys came bare root and he didn't have a lot of roots attached to his base. I was hoping he'd grow more as time went on, he may recover over time.

Hmm, you could try taking him out and planting him separately, checking on his root growth in the process. If there seems to be none, maybe it is time for a chop
