Here it is! As you can see, I did some more chopping. As you might be able to guess, I left it to callous for way longer. Not intentionally; I just forgot about it :p .

It's been in a pot with soil for a week, possibly two, and it's doing good. Soon enough it'll grow roots, and grow a bit. It's in the ugly stage now. The top right part is likely to die (middle parts have never done well for me), but the others will be OK. Come next spring, it'll be gorgeous!

I attempted a chop a couple weeks ago on a Rat Tail cactus, :oops: it was stressful to cut it, but we both survived! (Myself and the cactus 🤣) I'm not sure if it rooted yet but its been growing for the past week!

Glad to read that your first chop was a success! I was sure the cactus would make it, but I wasn't sure about you:lol:! Growing after a few weeks is a wonderful sign, congratulations!

They look great! I'm sure they are well on their way now to growing roots! ❤️

Scary for me but I had to be brave, the plant had some sort of fungus, I could only save the tip. I just gave him a light wiggle and he's feeling sturdy in there so there must be roots growing! I'll get a photo in a bit, the dog is barking loudly to be fed. :p
