It looks healthy to me! Id replant it in a pot one size up from this one, a pot with a drainage hole, preferably a terracotta pot. Get a succulent soil and mix perlite in 50/50 mix. Lots of morning sunshine, no all day blazing sun however. It probably only needs to be watered every 2 or 3 weeks. Stick a chop stick down to the bottom of the pot to check for moisture, water when the stick comes out bone dry. During the winter it will probably only need water every 5 or 6 weeks, cacti go dormant in winter.

Excellent! There's a second one that is a bit smaller but it's very brown, no green, and it's dry and breaking apart... so that one seems pretty hopeless. I'll post a pic in a bit. This one still has plenty of green so I hoped it'd be okay! Hopefully she will be. I'll repot it once moved and get a better substrate.
I didn't need anymore plants right now, but I couldn't leave her there, as its super super hot and she's been out all day waiting for someone to take her.

I'm actually bisexual! In the 80's I discovered I wasn't only into women but men! In fact, I think I'm not even into women at all! Or maybe I am, I'm not sure. I'll discuss it with my wife.

Any saving this plant? It was left outside on the street with a sign asking for a new home so I took it!
But I'm pessimistic about it's health.
Golden lace cacti? Not sure? Any advice?

I have both he's and she's in my crew of plants. The ones that are growing well and easy are boys. The difficult drama queens are gals.

I've got Breeze, Shirley, Valerie... All are named... even the new stray I adopted lol, I named her tarantula, Tara for short. Because golden laced cacti sort of look like tarantula legs. Idk, I'm very imaginative.

I've moved! I've got to go back for the ducks and fish, but snails, Bonnie and all my stuff are here!
She's okay. A bit unsettled, but she's exploring her new pen. (The water bottle was for her travel crate, she has a bowl in here too)
