I'm just back from vacation, and want to mention that the issue with cats and permethrin is twofold; dog appropriate amounts are toxic to most cats, and some cats are extremely sensitive to even very small amounts of the product. So, no dog safe permethrin can be used on any cat, and some cats get sick on even 'cat safe' dosages. Also, If you read the label on K9 Advantix, for example, it says (or used to at least) that no children or cats should be in the same room with a dog treated with it until it's totally dry.

It's a very good product when used as directed, but not for poultry, or off-label on other species!

I just spent $85 on amazon , if it will be allowed to cross the border I’ll be ok and bring more natural is not a bad thing , but having to go to a “ dr” that doesn’t know anything is very frustrating.

You may even want to check what is used for human lice. I heard permethrin was what it consisted of also, but not certain.

Permethrin is good for lice and or mites.
