Xylo waited until she made hers to begin eating, realizing she was most likely thinking about Lucas. “He’ll be fine.” He reassured her as he knelt beside her by the fireplace, staying close.
 
Raquel finished scribbling down what she had learned and her thoughts on the notepad, and shut it with a sigh. "I didn't realize how similar they are to us." she remarked. "I don't know why we hunt them." She paused, not sure whether or not she should continue. "I only really came out here to try to prove myself to my parents." She paused again. She needed to rant to someone, but could she trust anyone? She decided she couldn't trust anyone, but she could trust Eva. "I never wanted to be a hunter. I wanted to be an anthropologist. I loved it, and was good t it! I got good grades, and I got accepted to the school I wanted to go to. I had started taking summer classes for it. But then-" Her face darkened. "They never said I couldn't go to the school I wanted to go to, but they gave me no support. They were always going on and on about their precious son, my brother. 'He's a hunter he's so brave, why can't you be brave like him, instead of going to be a scientist?' I couldn't stand it. I had to prove myself. But I guess the anthropologist is still there." she laughed harshly.

"Same as usual," Persepolis responded with a laugh, "lost in love."
She turned to Hector, "What's this talk about clubs I hear?" She asked with a soft smile.
