Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Eva sat on a mostly flat boulder, and nodded, responding earnestly “Thatd be great.” before waiting for him to speak so she could get a feel for the other staying at the cabin.
Lucas sat down on a boulder beside the one she was sitting on. "River is my sister, she`s also one of our two leaders. The other being Xylo. Everyone there except Horius are drop dead loyal to her. What she says probably goes unless Xylo has a big problem with it, so she`s the one your going to need on your side the most. She`ll do anything to protect the others, anything, so make sure she knows your not a threat. She`s snappy, sarcastic, protective, and kind, as long as you are kind to her and her friends. But she`s also ruthless. Don`t ask about her past too much." He paused. "That`s what I have to say for River unless you have questions about her."

(I’m sorry for the short post but it’s mainly him talking lol) Eva nodded, paying close attention to his words. When he finished talking , she shook her head, responding “No questions. So who’s Xylo?” She asked, intrigued to meet her new housemates.

(XD It`s fine! I do it to you ALL the time XD)
Lucas nodded in acknowledgement. "Xylo is our other leader. He`s 21. Very calm, protective, sarcastic, level headed, that sort of thing. He doesn`t talk about his past much to anyone. Don`t ask too many questions about his past either." He paused. "Plenty of Aves there like him, just not as much as River. Horius likes him more than River, so does Hector I think." He shrugged. "That`s all I got for him off the top of my head."
(Just have her do her thing and I`ll go onto the next person.)

Eva nodded, attentively listening once more. She asked simply “And what about Hector? What is he like?”

(I'm back!)
(@Rubysword @RiverStorm) Horius spied the girl. A hundred yards away. Medium-length brown hair. Rather lean. Gun's on safety. He was a machine when he hunted. He approached, staying low as he neared, closing the distance between the two, not making a noise, avoiding all twigs and dry leaves. Soon, he was no more than twenty yards away. He saw his prey, innocent, quiet, oblivious. There was no guilt in his heart as he pulled out his knives and became completely invisible. She deserved all the pain he would unleash on her. She was an ignorant human, the muck of the earth. Always jealous of those that could possibly be better than them. Those fools believed they could do everything. But they could not possibly survive the storm that raged in his heart. Yet he had carried his yoke every day, never complaining, a prisoner to his past. His mother's screams echoed in the forest. His father's bloodied hands grew out from the trees. Horius crunched together his teeth, grinding them as he unleashed one of the knives from his hands, landing it in her leg, before throwing the second one, which pierced her shoulder.

Fools would've smiled. Bloodthirsty villains might have. But he didn't enjoy killing. It was simply the yoke he carried, a revenge tale for the blood of his mother. He carried that burden silently, without disobeying. And he had perfected the task. No one on the planet did it better than him. And he hated himself for that.

He uncloaked himself and walked towards Eva, who was whimpering with unbelievable amounts of pain, sobbing in the wake of his knives. He saw the look on her face as she saw who it was, the one who killed off hordes of the humans with no remorse, with no resistance. The look of doom settled in on it. She gripped her gun, before he shot her hand, then let another bullet fly at her side. HE approached. Slowly. Before he shot forward and seized both knives from her bloody body. Eva responded with cries of unspeakable pain. He stared at the bloody woman before him, bowing his head silently, acknowledging her pain. He muttered, knowing she was in too much pain to possibly reply "Can you carry that pain? Every day, without halt? Can you endure the cuts and scrapes I do everyday?", referring to his own hurt that he experienced and suffered every day. He left her there, to endure her pain slowly, her body to be found by the wolves, the cursed scavengers of the forest.
Raquel's head popped up from her rabbit as she heard a shriek, then whimpers, then crashing, someone running, silence. She jumped up and sprinted in the direction Eva was headed, stopping dead in her tracks in a clearing where the imprints f feet stopped, and there, staring up at her, was the bright red blood of her friend. She stopped, mouth gaping, struck dumb. Her voice slowly returned to her. She scratchily shouted "eva? Eva?! EVA?!" as she looked around frantically. A feather, larger than any birds, floated on her blood. Raquel stared at it, her tears running down her face, which was slowly morphing from one of anguish to one of rage. "They-they did this!" she spat, the veins in her neck becoming taut.
Lucas walked through the forest alone, hunting. The leaves rustled, birds chirped, but amidst the sounds of the forest, were whimpers and sobs. The whimpers were filled with terror and pain, utterly pathetic.
He stalked forward, unsure of what lay ahead. But he kept going, in case the whimpers were of one of his friends, or sister, who had been attacked.
He positioned himself in a shadow as to not be seen, then he studied what was causing the whimpers.
Laying on the ground before him, was a girl, around his age. But it was no Aves, it was a human. He shivered. Blood spurted from her hand, side, leg, and shoulder. She would be dead soon. Mere food for the scavengers like vultures and wolves. He studied her, but didn`t see a blood thirsty killer, only a helpless girl. Perhaps it was because she was lying on the ground bleeding to death herself, but he wouldn`t let someone die.
He left the shadows and kneeled down beside her, and tipped he face to look at him gently. "What has happened..." Lucas whispered to himself, horror on his face.
If he was going to help her- if she let him- he would have to take her back to the new cabin, but the others would never allow a human to even set foot inside the cabin.
She would have to be an Ave if she was to live.

"I understand," Persepolis replied with a smile. "I guess you could consider this practice then." She flicked her eyes away, feeling embarrassed that she had just said that.
Hector laughed. "Guess so." he said.
"If I was you I`d go to the cabin with the Banished. At least, try them out actually is what I would do." Lucas smiled at her. "You might like some of the others, too. Especially Luna, Persepolis, and River."
(wait. what'll Luna ad Persepolis do? Will they keep quiet, or speak up to verify that she's harmless?)

Eva nodded, attentively listening once more. She asked simply “And what about Hector? What is he like?”
"Actually, I don`t know Hector too much. He seems kind though. Same for Stephen." Lucas paused. "Persepolis is kind, sarcastic, and loyal from what I can tell of her. She wasn`t banished, she came on her own will. She seems to becoming fast friends with Luna."

Hector laughed. "Guess so." he said.
(wait. what'll Luna ad Persepolis do? Will they keep quiet, or speak up to verify that she's harmless?)
(We shall see. Remember that Persepolis does things in her best interest first.)

"Hey," Persepolis spoke very quietly, almost a whisper. "Thanks again for teaching me this skill. I know to you it doesn't seem like much, but to me, it matters a lot." She faced him when she spoke, a sign that she meant what she was saying and was interested in what he was teaching her.

Eva nodded, responding softly “And Luna’s the last one...except for Horius, right?” She shivered at the thought of what he had done to her, and what he could do further when he realized she was still alive. She could kill Lucas for having tried to help a human, for example.

Hector looked down "No problem. Thanks for making those pancakes this morning. They were the best thing I've had in a long time." He looked down in surprise as his stomach rumbled. "Guess it's been a long time since I had them, too. You wanna test the new club?" he asked.(let's pretend that going to try to bash rabbits with clubs is a normal method of hunting. Plus, little bunny fufu needs to be punished, right?!)
