Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Hector looked down "No problem. Thanks for making those pancakes this morning. They were the best thing I've had in a long time." He looked down in surprise as his stomach rumbled. "Guess it's been a long time since I had them, too. You wanna test the new club?" he asked.(let's pretend that going to try to bash rabbits with clubs is a normal method of hunting. Plus, little bunny fufu needs to be punished, right?!)
(omg xD)
"Sure," Persepolis replied happily, "I'd love to. Hopefully, we can catch something." She stood up and offered Hector her hand.
Once he was up, she asked responded to his thanks, "Oh, you're welcome. I'm glad that you enjoyed them. It's nice to bring even a little happiness to people's lives."

Hector grasped her hand and helped her up. "Today seems to be a good day for food." He remarked. He smiled at her words. "That's really sweet of you."

Eva nodded, responding softly “And Luna’s the last one...except for Horius, right?” She shivered at the thought of what he had done to her, and what he could do further when he realized she was still alive. She could kill Lucas for having tried to help a human, for example.
Lucas nodded. "And Eclipsa, but all I have to say for her is she has been missing for two days. And a member of us died a couple days ago. Her name was Camilla. A hunter killed her so don`t go talking about being a hunter. Natalie, my and River`s cousin, died from the cold too." He paused. "Luna is very kind and loyal, but haunted by her past." Another pause. "Horius is the face of murderers. He kills all the time. When he leaves, he usually comes back bloody, so be ready to see him like that. Don`t ask him questions. Stay away from him, he already doesn`t like you. Do NOT say that he was the one who attacked you. He might... try to kill you. Don`t follow him. He will kill other Aves too." He sighed. "I know it`s going to be hard for you, but hopefully not too hard."

Eva nodded, having heard the full roundup. After a bit, she responded softly “Thank you Lucas. I owe you so much. If I can ever do anything for you...I’ll do it no questions asked.” She offered him a sweet smile, before asking “So what about yourself? What are you like?”

Hector grasped her hand and helped her up. "Today seems to be a good day for food." He remarked. He smiled at her words. "That's really sweet of you."
Persepolis blushed a little, mumbling shyly, "Thanks."
She picked up her club and took out a short length of her braided rope. She tied a slipknot around the handle, then tied it close on her belt loop, on the opposite hip from where her machete was haltered. "Makes it easier to travel," she explained.
She waited for Hector to start walking.

(I'm back!)

Raquel's head popped up from her rabbit as she heard a shriek, then whimpers, then crashing, someone running, silence. She jumped up and sprinted in the direction Eva was headed, stopping dead in her tracks in a clearing where the imprints f feet stopped, and there, staring up at her, was the bright red blood of her friend. She stopped, mouth gaping, struck dumb. Her voice slowly returned to her. She scratchily shouted "eva? Eva?! EVA?!" as she looked around frantically. A feather, larger than any birds, floated on her blood. Raquel stared at it, her tears running down her face, which was slowly morphing from one of anguish to one of rage. "They-they did this!" she spat, the veins in her neck becoming taut.

Hector laughed. "Guess so." he said.
(wait. what'll Luna ad Persepolis do? Will they keep quiet, or speak up to verify that she's harmless?)
Horius shook his head as he heard the rage of the hunter. Perhaps now they understood what it felt, to lose someone close to them to another species. But she had the privilege of not watching it unfold before her eyes, without being able to do anything.

Hector swung his club over his shoulder, after looking at Persepolis's carrier. "I like the feel of it over my shoulder." he explained. As they got deeper into the forest, he carefully stepped, so as to avoid making too much noise.
*time skip*
Hector guffawed as Persepolis said something. the hunt had gone well. They had a rabbit apiece, and he had nabbed a nasty raccoon who decided they looked like they needed harassing. They'd be able to make a nice stew, especially with all the herbs Persepolis had found. She had shown him a lot of interesting herbs and told him about them. He couldn't keep them all straight.(is that ok? I was thinking maybe they found some queen Anne's lace tubers and stuff.)
