Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

River nodded. "I know and I understand." She gave a half grin. "Guess I`m not the best at patience. And I may have a problem with worrying."
Xylo chuckled, before bringing her close to him, trying to distract her from the responsibilities that consumed her. He looked down at her, before leaning in fro a soft kiss after whispering "Stop worrying for a second."

Persepolis stopped at a rocky valley in the forest. There were a handful of trees around, scattered not too far apart. There were two massive walls of rocks on either side of her, almost completely flat but not entirely. Throughout the valley, there were several boulders of varying sizes spaced various distances apart. Between them was open grass. It would make the perfect training ground. She wasn't that far from the cabin either. If she really shouted the others at the cabin could maybe hear her.

Alec looked at Horius. How am I going to get away from them? Alec thought. He felt the cold sting of metal though his pocket. These guys must not have done this before. They didn't even check me for other weapons. Alec glanced at his guns laying a few feet away. He closed his eyes, preparing himself for what he was about to do. Like lightning, Alec pulled the metal thing out of his pocket and threw it at the ground, diving towards his guns and grabbing them. The metal bomb exploded into bright light, blinding them. Stephen stumbled backwards, releasing the arrow. The arrow landed inches from Alec's face. Alec bolted, running away as fast as he could, jumping over logs & rocks.
Horius cursed as he was blinded. He quickly turned invisible, spreading his wings and taking off when he could see again. As he rose high, he quickly spotted the boy, and followed him from above, with a bird's eye view. He dove downwards and hurled himself down on the boy, tackling him down on the floor before using his wings to life himself off. He pulled out his gun and shot the boy once in the leg to immobilize him, waiting for Stephen to follow

River nodded before their lips touched. "I will." She watched his face and brought her arms around him in an hug.

Alec yelped when he was tackled, & shot at Horius missing. He gritted his teeth as pain shot through his leg, and he held his wound to stop the bleeding. He tried to stand up again, but fell down.

Stephen grabbed his arrow and flew after Alec. When he got there, he saw Horius hovering over Alec, who's leg was bleeding.
"What should we do with him?" Stephen asked Horius.

River nodded before their lips touched. "I will." She watched his face and brought her arms around him in an hug.
Xylo held her tightly, his hands moving to her sides as they held each other. Once again, all his worry faded, as if it were extinct. He knew it would return, but for now he wanted to lose himself in his love for River. River was all he had left, and he couldn't let her fade away from his life like Horius had.

Horius muttered solemnly, "I say we kill him. If we let him go he'll snitch on us, and we'll be hunted." That last part was solely for Stephen. Horius simply wanted to murder the man, and if he did snitch so be it. He'd murder the rest of the marauders as well, they deserved it anyway.

"If you wanted me dead, why haven't you killed me yet? You had so many chances of killing me, so why didn't you do it? Scared?" Alec taunted. He tried to buy himself some time, even if it was just a few seconds, to think of a plan to get away alive. He didn't want to kill them unless he had to.
Stephen pointed and arrow at Alec's heart, preparing to release it.
