Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

(I just thought of what Horius would say lol.) Horius chuckled, this boy was stupid. With a silent shake of his head, he provided a separate option, “Or, we can let you die, move your body miles away so that your friends are left helpless to avenge you, and leave you to rot.” He looked at the boy behind his mask, noting calmly, as if it were no big deal, “That option seems safest.”

"Yeah, you could do that too. But, it would be easier to keep me alive until you get to that super far away place you were talking about, because bodies are a lot heavier when they're dead & your friend looks like he gonna bolt any second now." Alec said, gesturing at Stephen who had a disgusted look on his face.

Horius didn't care about the stupidity the boy was speaking. Horius was certainly strong enough to carry a corpse for that long, it was no special feat. He turned to Stephen, whose face radiated with disgust and displeasure for the situation before him. Horius was inwardly disappointed in Stephen, finding no confidence whatsoever within him. He muttered irritably "You do what you want with him. But I'd kill him before he returns and murders everyone with his gang of hunters." If Horius had been alone, he would've killed the boy about five minutes ago. But Stephen couldn't take that apparently. It was a surprise he had survived so long with that weak mentality.

"Is there a way that doesn't involve us killing him? Like, tie him to a tree to die of blood loss. The wild animals should eat him before the hunters ever find him." Stephen asked, looking at Horius.
"Yes, listen to the smart man over there. Besides, wouldn't just killing me be too easy? By making me die of blood loss, it will be much more painful." Alec added.

Horius didn't care about what Alec said in the slightest. He knew Alec would simply try to escape with a knife or something, but like he said, he would leave it up to Stephen. Horius muttered simply "He'll try to escape, but you choose. I've had enough of this talk." With that, Horius walked a few steps away, and leaned against a tree.

Persepolis grunted, gritting her teeth against the pain. She sat cross-legged on the grass, laying her arm in her lap. Persepolis raised her other hand and laid it on her broken forearm. Mumbling a quiet incantation, the skin of her forearm started to glow and shimmer in the area where the break was. Within a few seconds, her pain faded and her bone healed itself. At the same time, the lush grass that Persepolis was sitting on started to fade and brown and shrivel up. Persepolis' eyes widened, taking in the effect of the dying grass. Persepolis herself didn't feel any loss of energy. In fact, as her energy returned to full strength, the grass seemed to be losing all of its energy.
A lightbulb went off in Persepolis' head as she realized what was happening. Her healing powers had advanced. She was now able to take energy from other living organisms around her instead of just her own.

"I'll tie him to the tree." Stephen said, grabbing some thick vines. He grabbed Alec's arm, making Alec wince, and dragged him over to the nearest and thickest tree to tie him to. He rapped the vine tightly around Alec's chest & arms, before tying the vines together on the other side of the tree.
Stephen sighed. "I'm leaving now. Bye." He said to Horius, & grabbed his bow. He walked back to the cabin, and entered his room.

Horius nodded, and walked away. However, he stayed a few yards away, invisible, knowing that Alec would try to escape. He would let him go to prove his point to Stephen, but the next time he saw that little rat of a boy, he would leave him to die. And it would be painful.

Persepolis got back up and started over again, this time being more careful. She successfully completed the kong vault over the boulder 10 more times. She felt she was fluent enough in it and decided that it was time to move on to another skill. Persepolis did a few jumping jacks as a warm-up and looked around, deciding on what she would do next.
Persepolis' eyes caught the rock wall to her left. The wall had several sections. The shortest section was about 7 feet tall and the highest looked to be able 20. The entire wall was very smooth looking, with only slight dents or pucks in the wall visible every now and then. Persepolis decided that she would work on her wall jumps and climbing skills. These skills were essential in parkour in any situation whether that was competing, escaping, or chasing. She approached the shortest section of wall, sizing it up. The top was well above her head level. Persepolis performed a vertical jump, trying to see if she could reach the top by simply jumping. She wasn't even close.
Persepolis backed up, putting a fair bit of distance between herself and the wall. She breathed in then launched off her foot, racing at the wall. She reached the wall and jumped, extending her right foot while she kept her body close to the wall. She pushed off with her right foot, then pushed with her left foot in rapid succession. The move boosted her up the wall a foot and a half. Persepolis extended both of her hands and caught the edge of the wall by her fingers. She pushed her feet against the wall again, giving herself enough lift to pull herself over the wall. Success. Persepolis jumped down, preparing to do it again at a closer distance this time. She needed to be faster.

Alec watched them leave. The second they disappeared from view, he instantly started to squirm. He felt one of the vines snap. "Come on" he muttered. He froze, and took a few deep breaths. Alec then jerked forwards, snapping the rest of the vines and tumbled forwards, head first. "Ow." He groaned, rubbing his head. He stood up, & felt a wave of dizziness rush through his head. His legs burned from his weight being placed on them while they were still injured. He fell down, cursing. Alec pulled off his jacket & tied it around one of his wounds, finding long leaves to do the same to the other one. He grabbed a long and thick stick laying a few inches away & tried to break it. When he failed, he smiled and used it to pull himself up on.

Horius shook his head, knowing this would've happened. He contemplated what to do in the situation before him. He could just kill him and say some animal got to him. Or he could simply let him go. He didn't know what to do, so he simply stayed put, watching Alec continue to struggle to walk off. One more shot and he'd be too weak to keep on walking, he thought. He might as well let him go. But Horius vowed the next time he saw that rat, he'd be dead. Horius turned and began walking off, hoping the wild animals got to Alec before he managed to reach camp.
