Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Xylo kisses her in the moonlight, his worries buried by their love. He made sure to hold her delicately like she deserved to be, treated with respect. She had endured so much and been so kind to him, and he valued every ounce of it
River flicked her eyes closed. She held onto him, not wanting to let go. When she was with him, nothing else mattered, only their love, not even her fears mattered.

Hector nodded, before beginning to deal out the cards as one would need to play Go Fish. He then said with a shy yet courteous smile “Ladies first.” Hector waited for her to ask for a number, patiently sorting out his cards to pass the time as he did so.
Persepolis picked up her cards. She took a moment to arrange them in her hands in numerical order. An Ace, Two, Five, Seven and Queen. She asked softly, "Do you have any two's?" Watching him and waiting for his answer.

Xylo moved her against a tree, holding her there softly as they kept on kissing. He couldn’t describe his love anymore, it was an emotion too powerful to describe. He trembled as he kissed her, overcome with the passion he held for River. Horius and him might have been brothers, but what they had was only an inkling of what he had with River.

Hector looked at his own hand, deciding if he should cheat or not. Hmm, probably not the best idea for the first date. He handed over his two, before waiting for any more cards she’d ask for.

River felt his trembling, and for a second she thought he might somehow be hurt, but then she realized he trembled with love, and she felt a thwack of compassion for him hit her.

Persepolis took his card. While she decided what to ask for next, she asked him casually, "Have you ever won at this game?" She glanced up, adding with a smile, "And do you have an Ace?"

Xylo walked alongside River back home to the cabin, using his sense of direction to navigate them through the dark. He occasionally glances over to check she was ok, keeping a vigilant eye on her stomach, before returning his eyesight to the forest around them. As they walked, he asked softly “So have you thought of any names yet?”

Hector nodded with a smile, letting his actions speak louder than his words. Which would be really weird if he lost but oh well. With a friendly nod, he replied “Go fish.”, mentally noting she had an ace, at least one of them. When it was his turn, he asked simply “You have a six?”n

Persepolis took a card, arranging it in her hand. She smiled back at Hector and replied kindly, "Go fish". She noted that he had a six. After he took a card she asked, "You have a five?"

River walked at his side and glanced over at his face. "Claire is one I like for a girl. Have you thought of any?"
