Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Hector offered simply, “A board game would be nice, don’t you think?” He looked to her for approval, before heading to the cabin with her to pick one of them out. He moved his hair back some as they spoke, as it had gotten toddled around a little during their walk.
Persepolis nodded het agreement and helped him look. She messed with her own hair, parting it so that it framed her face. She scanned the shelves of games. Sorry. Clue. Monopoly. Pictionary. She didn't know how to play most of these games. There were cards, too.

River`s expression didn`t change. "I don`t want to know if you don`t want me to. But if you want to talk to me about it, I`m here."
Xylo responded softly, caressing her cheek softly, whispering “I don’t care, but I guess I won’t talk about it if you don’t want to know. I hate my past, compared to the present which I share with you.” He cupped her face gently and kissed her lovingly, his hair touching hers as they did so.

Hector offered “Cards? I don’t know how to play the rest of these games to be completely honest with you.” He gave her a sheepish laugh and a slight grin, before juggling the pack of cards a little to entertained the both of them, in jest.

Stephen walked into his room & sat down on the bed. He was regretting telling Luna about the hunter the other day, but knew it was too late to pretend like he didn't tell her. He hoped she wouldn't tell Xylo or River, or really anyone else. Just in case she did & things went south, Stephen packed his important items & slid it under the bed. He walked outside, & stared at the night sky. He looked around. Everything was so dark, Horius could be standing a few feet away, not invisible, & he would never see him. Not that Stephen minded, he liked Horius. He just didn't like Horius killing people, & what he planned to do to all the aves one day. He stood on the porch, listening to the sound of the nocturnal animals running & flying around.

Persepolis laughed softly, "Me neither, too be honest." She watched him juggle the cards and playfully cocked and eyebrow at him, amused. She asked with a smile, "What card games do you know?"

River nodded, then met his kiss. She wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

Hector gave her a shy yet playful smile. He took out the cards and began shuffling them, thinking out loud “Go fish, War, Spades, Poker, Black Jack. You choose.” He laid the deck in front of them, waiting for an answer before he started dealing the cards.

Persepolis playfully smiled, admitting bashfully, "Honestly, the only ones of that list that I know how to play are War and Go Fish." She laughed, "I mean, I can play poker but I'm terrible at it." She thought for a moment, "How about go fish?"

Hector nodded, before beginning to deal out the cards as one would need to play Go Fish. He then said with a shy yet courteous smile “Ladies first.” Hector waited for her to ask for a number, patiently sorting out his cards to pass the time as he did so.
