Luna finally got up after staying awake nearly the entire night. She had simply been contemplating life, and that involved very much of Alec. Why was she taking the time to go over there? It was in fact rather selfish, she realized. Her motive for speaking to him was so that she could hopefully fall in love with him, but there were millions of ways that wouldn't work out. And then what? She suddenly left him because he was of no more use to her? Luna was not about to go down such a corrupt path, and decided that if she were to visit Alec some more, she would be fine with knowing there was a large chance that it wouldn't work out. He had even explained that he was too "dangerous" and that "his past was too dark for her". As Luna spread her wings and flew back to the cabin, Luna realized what she had said was right. But her past had been dark as well...and she still wished they could work something out. She landed at camp about fifteen minutes later.

Persepolis spotted Luna and glided over to join her.
"Hey," she called out, "How are you? I didn't see you much yesterday." She waited patiently for an answer, putting away her bow and arrows.

Luna nodded, and responded apologetically "I'm sorry. I just wanted to contemplate a few things, think a few thing over. Eventually I fell asleep in a cave, I'm sorry for not telling you or coming back at least." She turned to a more lighthearted conversation as she added "How are you and Hector coming along?", giving Persepolis a rather tired but genuine smile.

Luna nodded, and responded apologetically "I'm sorry. I just wanted to contemplate a few things, think a few thing over. Eventually I fell asleep in a cave, I'm sorry for not telling you or coming back at least." She turned to a more lighthearted conversation as she added "How are you and Hector coming along?", giving Persepolis a rather tired but genuine smile.

"No worries. I'm just glad you're okay." Persepolis smiled softly. When Luna asked about Hector her smile grew a little wider despite her attempts to stop it. Gleefully, she told Luna "We're doing really good, actually." She gave a bashful chuckle, "And he's a good kisser. I'm really so grateful that you talked to him for me."

"No worries. I'm just glad you're okay." Persepolis smiled softly. When Luna asked about Hector her smile grew a little wider despite her attempts to stop it. Gleefully, she told Luna "We're doing really good, actually." She gave a bashful chuckle, "And he's a good kisser. I'm really so grateful that you talked to him for me."

Luna laughed at her friends' glee, and actually felt the same way for her. Additionally, it felt rather good to be distracted from Alec, and focus on someone else. She responded with enthusiasm "Well I am happy for you two, you two are cute together. And that's great that he's a great kisser, he sounds like a keeper." She gave her yet another smile, refreshed to be talking about Hector and Persepolis once again, they truly were cute together.

Luna laughed at her friends' glee, and actually felt the same way for her. Additionally, it felt rather good to be distracted from Alec, and focus on someone else. She responded with enthusiasm "Well I am happy for you two, you two are cute together. And that's great that he's a great kisser, he sounds like a keeper." She gave her yet another smile, refreshed to be talking about Hector and Persepolis once again, they truly were cute together.

Persepolis smiled before telling Luna, "I'm so glad that you think we're cute together. And he's definitely a keeper
" She added with an apologetic tone, "I'm sorry that I've been spending more time with him lately than with you."

Xylo awoke slowly, blinking his eyes to realize he was still awake. Even though the two shared a room, River and Xylo had come to the habit of sleeping in the same bed, so pushing them together was something to consider, he thought. He smiled as he gazed down on her as she slept, focusing on her stomach, which held his children. His body seemed to tingle with excitement that he was a father, which brought to mind how much he would do to protect them.

River squirmed closer to Xylo as she slept, and slowly her eyes opened to see Xylo staring down at her. "Good morning," She muttered sleepily, yawning.

Persepolis smiled before telling Luna, "I'm so glad that you think we're cute together. And he's definitely a keeper
" She added with an apologetic tone, "I'm sorry that I've been spending more time with him lately than with you."

Luna smiled at her friend's excitement regarding her boyfriend, before it faded. She too was apologetic as she responded "No, don't worry about it. I've been gone so much that we haven't even had a chance, so that's my fault." She paused, before she ended her statement with a sincere and even assertive tone as she added "And never say sorry for that, I would be a horrible friend if I was jealous that you were spending more time with someone else than me. You are happy with him, and seeing you that way gives me a lot of joy." She smiled once again, showing her genuine care for Persepolis' well-being and personal enjoyment.

River squirmed closer to Xylo as she slept, and slowly her eyes opened to see Xylo staring down at her. "Good morning," She muttered sleepily, yawning.

Xylo smiled at her sleepy voice, and asked teasingly "Does Ms. Vampire want to go to bed some more? She is nocturnal, after all." He intertwined his fingers with hers and gave her a gentle squeeze as a good morning, opting for that instead of a kiss because morning kisses were not the most enjoyable ones.
