Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

River opened her eyes and turned to the door, ignoring Lucas. Yet she wondered what she had done that made him so... Horrified? She walked out with Trodaire and passed Xylo, glancing at him. "I`m going hunting." She said blankly. "If anyone asks."
Xylo nodded, responding simply "Sounds good, but try to be back quick so we can leave for the new house and vote for a leader." He breathed out at the top of his pull-up before adding "Stay safe."

"I will." River simply replied, walking into the forest line. She spread her wings and took off. "Trodaire." She paused as the young he-wolf raised his head to her as he ran. "You know what to do." The wolf seemed to nod and veered off and into some brush.
River grabbed her dagger and raised higher into the air. Her eyes caught movement, but she quickly identified it as Trodaire sniffing around for prey scents.
Another movement got her eye, she paused for a second to make sure it was prey. It was.
She dived and threw the dagger, just then she saw another rabbit and then Trodaire leap from the bushes and snap at it`s throat.
When she landed, she glanced around. Trodaire held a dead rabbit in his jaws. "Good boy." She said, taking the rabbit from him. She turned to the other rabbit. Her dagger had hit it`s spine, killing it. She re-claimed her dagger and grabbed the rabbit. "That was a pretty good hunt." But two rabbits aren`t going to fill up 11 people. She thought. "Let`s get back to the cabin." She turned and led Trodaire back to the cabin, passing Xylo by and glanced at him. "I guess today is a good hunting day compared to day before yesterday and yesterday." She commented coolly.

Xylo dropped down from the tree, responding "Sure it was, showoff." with a slight smile. He decided he should go hunting as well, it was his responsibility as a member of the group. As he stalked forward, the blatant scent of pine trees along with the less noticeable aromas of other trees filling the air. Water dripped from the skinny leaves, diving off towards the ground with no parachute. With every step he took, the scent got stronger, the noises got weaker. Soon, there was almost no noise at all. It was then that Xylo took flight, scanning the area below, a hunter above his prey. He nodded towards a trio of deer up ahead, as if he was acknowledging they were good enough. Xylo grabbed his two daggers and dove downwards in a second, unleashing both, hitting a deer in the head, killing it instantly and without pain. The deer hadn't done anything to him, so why should it die painfully? With a sigh, he pulled the deer over his shoulders and began the trek home, glad to have been able to gather food that would last them some days. It was about half an hour later when he exited the woods to the cabin's clearing, a deer heaved over his shoulders.

River raised an eyebrow as he came back, having put the rabbits inside. "Nice catch. But who`s the showoff now?"

Luna responded simply "I'm Luna." She sighed, a bit of weariness in her voice "SO you just followed us here? Guess we were easy to find."
Persepolis inwardly groaned, getting sick of the same old question.
She responded nonchalantly, "I followed you guys, yes. Let me assure you, it was not easy to find you. The average person would not have been able to follow you."

Luna nodded, proposing a more in-depth question when she asked "And what made you leave the mansion if you weren't banished in the first place? Did you know anyone here?", implying perhaps she had a friend among the group.
