Stephen walked on the other side of the cabin, spotting River & Xylo. "Nice catch. Want me to start skinning it?" He asked.

"That would be good Stephen. Thanks." River said kindly.

Xylo nodded, after replying to River "That'd be great Stephen. It's a great help, having a butcher around." He would go talk to him later, he thought. Stephen was underappreciated in his opinion.

Stephen nodded, & grabbed the deer & rabbits, walking inside. When got inside, he set it on the table, and started to skin them.

Persepolis thought about it for a minute, then answered very quietly, "Probably River. From what I've seen so far, she has been able to get the others moving, and keep everyone responsible for each other. Everyone else just seems to follow her lead."
After a pause, "No offense." She added, implying that she didn't mean to hurt Luna's feelings by groupong her with her the others."

Luna smiled, replying "No offense taken. I'm not the prime candidate. Trust me." She hesitated before adding on "I've had a dark past. Most people here are better at letting go than I am." Her eyes turned a little more downcast, as she continued "I wouldn't be the best leader. I need to start with myself before I worry about others. But to your point, I would think River or Xylo would have my vote."

"I actually think that you are a pretty good person," Persepolis told her. "I think we all have a dark past. We all had to have at least some hardship to be here right now. But I understand your need to work with yourself first before you work with others. That is something that any strong person like you should do."
She gave her a warm smile.
