Xylo pulled away after a few seconds, his eyes soft and loving as he stared in hers. He moved the hair that had fallen in her face behind her ears, not breaking the silence until she did.
"Those pancakes do sounds really good", Persepolis agreed. She started walking with Luna, following her to the Cattails.
Luna and Persepolis arrived at the creek a few minutes later. Upon seeing some, she uprooted some using her telekinesis and brought them over to Persepolis. She asked simply “These are the correct ones, right?”
"Yup, those are the ones", She answered. "We'll want to bring back the whole plant. We can take them apart once we're at the cabin." She produced a small ziplock bag from one of her coat pockets. "If we see any flowers on any of them, we can shake the pollen into here. That way we have it on hand to add to pancakes later if we want."
Luna nodded, asking “So we keep looking for some more then?”, already doing so around the small creek/ swamp area. She squinted her eyes as she looked north, thinking she might’ve seen some there.
Luna kneeled down to pick four flowers from a small group of cattails, giving it to her before uprooting the stems and taking those in her own hands.

Persepolis placed the flowers in the ziplock bag, careful not to lose any of the pollen.
