Persepolis took a few quick steps behind her and stabbed her machete into the ground. She unslung her bow and placed it there, too. She could reach her weapons before the hunters if it came to it.
She walked back to stand next to Luna. Speaking with a steady voice she asked the hunter who had dropped the gun, "If you aren't here to kill us, what are you here for?"
She kept a tab on the other hunter, who still hadn't moved.

Luna let Persepolis speak, not speaking whatsoever. She simply studied the hunter, analyzing her eyes.

Eva stuttered, replying after some pondering "You are amazing. I just wanted to know and study you all some more, that's all."

River swam under the water, holding her breath, she circled around him, and popped up right behind him. She poked him, and waited for him to whirl around.

Xylo noticed her under the water, and turned around at her poke. The light creeped in, forming a picture perfect dimness in the cave. She was beautiful, standing in front of the waterfall. He chuckled as if he didn't understand what was before him. He dared to creep forward, placing his hands behind her back, before drawing her closer to him. He whispered softly "You're beautiful, my angel.", holding her gaze in the roar of the waterfall behind them.

Persepolis nodded, acknowledging the hunter's response. She looked to Luna, wondering if she would do anything.
(Luna's gonna have to do something.... I can't think of anything more to say in this post xD)

Luna asked in a hushed voice, trying to maintain her composure "Well, you've seen us. Perhaps you should leave us so that no one gets hurt."

Eva pleaded "We're not going to hurt you, we just wanted to... met one of you."

Luna turned to Persepolis, asking softly "Think we should leave?"

River allowed him to draw her closer. Her heart pumped like a heart-attack as she stared up at his eyes. His brown eyes were soft and loving like... like nothing she had ever seen. She blushed as he called her beautiful. She wanted to respond, but her voice didn`t work, it had left, as if cared away by the water.

Luna asked in a hushed voice, trying to maintain her composure "Well, you've seen us. Perhaps you should leave us so that no one gets hurt."

Luna turned to Persepolis, asking softly "Think we should leave?"

Persepolis answered, "No. We came here for these strawberries and we will get these strawberries. I don't care if they stay, as long as they don't hurt us and they don't touch their weapons." She gave a pointed look at the weapons the hunters have on them.
She added, "It doesn't cause us any harm if they observe us. But I'm not fully agreeing to anything until that other hunter says something. And drops her weapons."

She blushed as he called her beautiful. She wanted to respond, but her voice didn`t work, it had left, as if cared away by the water.

Horius slowly moved his hand to brush against her cheek, quietly admitting "And even more so when you blush." With a gentle touch to her chin, he moved it upward, looking into her eyes before he closed them and kissed her, once more, in the secret of the waterfall's cavern, hidden by the curtain of water. No one would find them, no one would hurt them. They were safe, alone, with nothing but each other's love, blooming like a flower after the first raindrops of spring. And that was all he needed. Her.

Luna nodded, before looking up and spotting two human walking a few yards up ahead of them. She ducked behind the bush, whispering “Hunters.”

Raquel's eyes remained on the ground.

Upon hearing the word "hunters" panic flashed across Persepolis's face. "If things go south, run" She whispered back.
Persepolis whirled around, flaring her wings up to make herself appear larger and brandishing her machete. She stood in front of the bush Luna was hiding in, blocking the hunters' view.

Raquel glanced up as she sensed movement, and froze.

Luna pulled out her knives, standing beside her. She wasn’t about to let her friend get into a battle without her.

Eva called out calmly “I don’t want to hurt you.”, loosening her grip on her rifle, which she had pulled out.

Raquel, following Eva's lead, slowly, and rreluctantly, unsheathed her axe and laid it on the ground.

Persepolis lowered her machete, still holding it. She folded her wings but said nothing. She stared at them, waiting to see if the other hunter would make a move. Actions meant more than words to her.
Persepolis stole a glance over to Luna, who had joined her. She was glad that she had such a good friend, she didn't want to be in this alone.

Eva slowly squatted down and placed the gun on the floor, trembling slightly as she stood back up. She studied the two, wondering if they would respect their agreement not to hurt each other.

Luna's eyes narrowed at the girl, that cold feeling of pain and the want to hurt returning. After a deep breath, she threw her knives into the nearest trees, showing her accuracy with them as they burrowed into the wood. She was mentally prepared to pull them out using telekinesis if need be.
