Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Luna started moving floating berries into the bag, and a few into her mouth, smiling as she crunched down on them, chasing them to unleash their flavor. With a face that was coated with the juice of berries, and a bag full of a blur of red, pink, and blue, Luna laughed at Persepolis, who looked the same, just that her hands were covered in the shade of the berries’ juice as well.
Persepolis laughed too, seeing that they were both enjoying themselves. She brought over a handful of berries, carefully adding them to the bag which was now almost full. "These are some good berries, huh?" She remarked. "I see why they're your favorite." She smiled. "And I didn't get pricked this time, how's that for a good time?" she mused.

Xylo held her closer at those words, not knowing exactly what to say. But he had a feeling she was going to continue, so he combed his hands throughout her hair softly, caressing her during her hurt.
River shivered. "It happened after my father and brother died. I wanted to fight, so I went hunter hunting. She and Lucas came after me, they were worried since I was alone."

Luna smiled, agreeing "You're right, I'd count that as a good bonus." With a smile, she stood up, asking excitedly "Flying or walking. You choose." She secretly wanted to fly home, she was hungry and hadn't eaten at all that day minus the few berries she had just eaten, so those pancakes sounded just about amazing.

Xylo tried to comfort her shivers in their embrace, waiting for her to continue her story. He urged softly "Go on." She was nervous, and he made sure he was calm so that she could lean on him faithfully to share her story with, to finally uncover her veil that masked her life story.

"Let's fly home," Persepolis said. "I want to get back. The sooner we get back, the sooner we have pancakes." She was hungry, too. She too had not eaten much that day. "When we get back, we'll have to roast the cattail heads before we can grind them into a flour. That will take a little while, around half an hour." She spread her wings, beating them a few times to lift straight up and waited for Luna to join her so they could head home.

(Okay, the next post might be short or it might be long...
Now I go write River`s back-story. See you in 2218.)

Luna did the same, spreading her wings, and boosting her way off of the ground into the air. She called out to Persepolis “Sounds good to me!” as they rid the wind back to the cabin, excited to get home and cook some. With a smile, she thanked “Thanks for coming. I had a lot of fun, even though we were interrupted.”

Persepolis replied, "Thanks for inviting me. I had a great time." Referring to the humans she added, "At least things went pretty well. That situation could have played out completely differently."
