Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

River looked at him. "That would be great. I`ll come too. Thank you. Speaking of scouting..." Her voice drifted off and she slumped onto one of the two beds. "Snap! I didn`t go look for Eclipsa with Luna..." She sighed. "I`m terrible at this. At being a leader."
Xylo shook his head, sighing softly. He urged “You just need to get used to it. And besides, if Eclipsa made it through all these days she’s likely survive one more. I’ll go search for her tomorrow if you want.” (Want to just keep them in the room talking until Eva and Lucas just walk into camp as they’re trying to leave?)

Eva asked meekly, not wanting to seem controlling “Should we leave then, so they don’t get really worried?”
Lucas nodded. "Yes." He paused. "River and Xylo are going to take you and me to their room they share, to talk to you and tell the others to stay out. Don`t worry when they do that. They just are gonna want to know who you are."

Eva nodded, asking softly as they began walking “What if they ask me about my story? Should I tell them about what Horius did?” She didn’t know what to do, and certainly didn’t want to make a mistake that could cost her her life. Especially since she had just regained it back.

River smiled. "Thanks so much Xylo. I feel horrible about shoving all this on you, and for making you do everything earlier because I was stuck in the woods with Luna and Persepolis." She paused. "I might come too since I promised Luna, and you could stay or I could stay and you could go..." She closed her eyes. "And I`m rambling again."

Xylo chuckled, kissing her on her forehead gently, before explaining “Whatever works. If you haven’t decided since then, I can go. There’s no problem.” He reassured her like he had done before “And like I said, you’ll get the hang of it.” He offered a bit of humor “Maybe I’m a bit more bossy than you or something.”

Lucas thought for a second. "Yes. They will be able to handle it better than you and me." He glanced at her. "There`s nothing to worry about." He knew that might be a lie, but he said it anyways.

River grinned. "Thank you." She looked at him amusedly. "Oh really? I haven`t seen anyone sucking up to you yet and I`ve had probably three different comments on how awesome I am." She said sarcastically. "Okay, maybe two, but whatever."

(Sounds good to me, I like it)
Persepolis smiled, glad to have made Hector laugh. They had been out for a couple of hours, but it was worth it. She was happy with their catch and what they had foraged, she hadn't been sure that they were going to get much if anything.
Her stomach growled loudly. Persepolis shook her head with a goofy smile, "Guess I'm hungrier than I thought I was," she told Hector. "That was a lot of fun, I'm glad we didn't come up empty-handed. And nice job getting that raccoon! It had that coming," she laughed.
Hector laughed too. "It definitely did. It came out of nowhere!" He heard her belly rumble and snickered. "We'd better hurry up with the stew, I guess."

Eva nodded her head, hoping what he said was true. She was definitely still scared of Horius, how he had left her there for him to die. With no apparent remorse. And how he might do it again. And this time there would be no saving, no transformation.
