River relaxed a little and sat down on her bed, across from Xylo. "I`m so sorry about what I did." She murmured. Then added when he continued. "You and Lucas are all I have too."

Xylo thought about what had been destroyed in the forest. That friendship. He remembered how much Horius had given for him. He would not make the same mistake he did to him with her. With conviction, he responded “You mean so much to me. I would die for you.” Xylo knew those words were powerful, but he truly meant them, because if he didnt have a cause to die for, was living even worth it? He wished to create a bond between him and River that could never be broken. Not even by Horius’ pestering words.

"You`er right." Lucas said, then added. "May I guess you are going to go find her tomorrow?"

Eva responded simply “Id like to. But it might take days to find her. And Horius is out there too, and im sure he wants me dead even more now.”

(lol np ) Xylo stared. His eyes pierced hers like the spear of an ancient warrior, seeing if she would die for him. Would she cry for him? Would she die for him? He would for her. And then he saw it.

Leaving Horius behind had only increased his relationship with her. But not only because he now he only had her left. Because now he saw that what he had torn down with Horius, he could rebuild with her. He asked softly "Are you happy River?", wondering what her answer was. He needed her to be honest.
