Xylo responded softly, "You're getting better at letting me in, and I don't have words to explain how thankful I am for that." He leaned in to kiss her softly, using the kiss as a form of thanks rather than any words.
 
(@HoodedHuntress Any idea how long we'll go before a time-skip? I'm trying to plan out what I'm going to do.)

(I don't go to a special school that just has IB courses, but our school is known for its more challenging programs. Particularly our AP program. The IB courses are mostly normal courses. There is IB Art, IB Music, IB Biology, IB English, IB Math, IB German, IB Spanish, IB French, IB Mandarin (?), IB Economics, IB History of the Americas, and others that I don't remember the names of right now.)

(Lol I think I somewhat understand. SO what's the benefit of taking an IB course? Actually should be pretty soon, River and Xylo have a little announcement)
 
Persepolis relaxed. She looked up at the wall. Eyes closed. Deep breaths. The wall was very tall, but Persepolis excelled at climbing. Persepolis wiped her hands on her jeans and pulled at her tank top to cool off. She reached up. Her fingers grasped, connecting with a small divet on the wall. She extended her other hand. Her palm found a break, a small gap that she could slide her fingers into. She placed her right foot, sliding it on the wall, looking for traction. She found just enough to hold her footing.
Muscles tensed, she pulled herself up. Moving fast, she tried to place her left foot. Nothing. Again. Nothing. She put the toe of her left foot on the wall and pushed. Hard. Grunting, she threw her right hand up. Searching, searching, searching. Bingo. A handhold. She moved her left hand. Anything? The wall was smooth. She stretched a little further. She found a small indent. It would do. She moved her right foot again. Her shoe was sliding off. No traction. Trying again, she extended her foot farther, bending her knee to her chest. Finally, she caught a foothold. Again she pushed off with her left foot. This time her left foot landed in the place of her left hand, a good hold.
She was just getting started now.

(If I pass the exams, I get college credit and don't have to take as many classes in college. Less money spent, basically. And it gives me a competitive edge over other applicants.
Okay, I'll wait for the time skip, then.)

River smiled and met his kiss, wrapping her arms around him again in a hug.
