Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

"No one important." Stephen replied. The topic was starting to make him a little uncomfortable. If she knew that he had kept the hunter alive to suffer who knows what she would do.
Luna didn’t know what to do. She had never been in a situation like this, and didn’t know Stephen well enough to know how he was like. She crossed her arms and looked at him with an inquisitive look.

Stephen sighed, and looked at the ground. "I ran into a hunter. He was watching me. I asked what he was doing, and he said he was doing research. I almost killed him, but I didn't. I tied him to a tree for the wild animals like a coward. I was going to finish the job." Stephen said. He left out the part about Horius. He didn't want to scare her too much knowing he was nearby.

Luna didn't know what to say. She hadn't known Stephen was capable of that. It took er time to think up a response. She finally opened her, hesitating before continuing "Did he ever pull a weapon you? And were the only person there, aside from the hunter?" Her expression turned kinder, so that he was more comfortable talking to her.

"No, I wasn't alone. He had weapons, like a gun, but he never shot at me. He used a flash bomb to get away, but besides that no." Stephen said, looking at her.

Persepolis jumped into action. Her movements happened in sequence. One. Push gun up. Two. Duck head under the gun. Three. Turn gun towards the attacker. Four. Drive gun into their stomach. Five. Twist gun out of their grip. Six. Step out of reach while loading a new cartridge. Seven. Point it at the attacker. Eight. Pull the trigger. The image of the woman disintegrated. Persepolis lowered her arms.
Looking around, Persepolis felt bored. She would have prefered training with a real opponent. Training by herself only did her so much good. She'd have to ask someone to help her train when she got back to the cabin. Tomorrow. She didn't have any real intention of returning today.
Killing time, Persepolis unswung her bow from her back. She knocked two arrows. Drew back. Persepolis thought back to Luna's comment. She had said Persepolis looked like a warrior princess. I definitely look like one now, She thought. Her eyes pinpointed a knot on a tree 10 yards away. She released the arrows. They made a whistling noise as they flew through the air. With a resounding thud, both arrows hit their mark. Persepolis walked over, removing her arrows. She returned to where she had been standing.

Luna asked softly, "Who else was there?", wondering if it was someone she knew so she could get an idea as to what exactly happened. And she didn't judge Stephen for attacking the hunter if he had guns, but leaving him to die was a little harsh.

Stephen dropped his gaze again. After a few minutes he looked up. "Horius. I was with Horius." He said and waited for her to freak out.

Luna processed the information. How she despised that horrid excuse of a man. She asked calmly, looking directly into Stephen's eyes, before asking simply, no anger behind her voice "He made you do it, right?"

"I tied him to the tree because at least he had a chance of escaping, unlike what Horius wanted to do. Horius wanted him to 'feel his pain' and then kill him." Stephen said, starting to get a little defensive.
