Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

River looked awkward. "We`er partners. Which is a married couple for humans. And... We`er expecting a child. And there`s so many things a child could die from our here." She said quietly.
Eva looked at her in wonder. She was amazed, and happy for the two. She smiled, before replying in an excited voice "That's wonderful! And I'll help in any way you want me to, I'm so happy for you two."

River smiled. "Thanks. And it`s good to know that you won`t have a problem with a kid running around. But I think someone like Stephen will."

Sam sat lazily on a branch halfway up a large Oak tree, so he was concealed from view from both the ground and any Aves that happened to fly by in the sky. He always stayed around this part of the woods, camouflaged in the trees. One of the main reason for that is because, to his knowledge, not many people or Aves passed by here -he knew from his time with his family as an Aves hunter.... little did he know, he was only a few miles off from where the other banished Aves were camped.
The other Aves -both original and banished- more than likely thought he was dead. Sam went his separate way from everyone else the night they were banished, and has stayed out of sight from everyone since, at least so far. Sure, it might have been stupid to go live off on his own; he'd have a better chance of survival if he stayed with the other banished Aves, but he wanted to be alone... Or, rather, that's what he tells himself, when really he does miss having others to talk to. But he didn't want to risk getting close to anybody again.
Sam sighed to himself, leaning against the rough bark of the tree trunk, and allowing his wings to droop by his side. He stayed that way for a few hours until after the sun finally rose, and he decided that it was probably time to go hunting, since he had no such luck getting food yesterday. Sam transformed into a White-Necked Raven and flew to a small stream he discovered not to long ago. Landing on a tree branch roughly 20 feet away from the stream, he transformed back to his original form and took out a bow and arrows that he stashed in a dense bundle of branches in the tree. And then he patiently, quietly waited.

Eva smiled genuinely "Kids are so cute, why'd I be mad? Besides, after all the responsibilities you've taken upon yourselves, it'd be unfair to be mad if we just have a baby running around." She smiled, before teasing "You two are cute together, anyway, so that adds to it."

Luna nodded, explaining with some vigor and excitement, "She came back. I have no idea how, but I'm not complaining. She's completely fine, as well. No scratches, bruises etc." she paused for a moment, before adding "And Stephen was acting really weird yesterday, come to think of it. He apparently trying killing a hunter with Horius, and he got really defensive about it." Her tone shifted to one more quiet, to avoid anyone listening in to their conversation.
Persepolis got up, moving to sit on Luna's bed. She whispered, "I'm glad Eclipsa came home. That's great news. I was worried for her." She paused, whispering, "As my best friend, I won't keep anything from you. I can verify they attacked a hunter. I encountered their victim."

River rolled her eyes and laughed at the last part. "Other than Xylo, you`re the first person to know." She said.

(Want Lucas to wake up and run into him?)

Luna's eyes widened, her attention drifting to the second story. She asked, somewhat disappointed in Stephen and furious towards Horius, "How bad were the injuries?" Luna found herself sympathizing more with a human stranger rather than the Aves she had lived with. Was that wrong? Or was it just that those that had been around her were so messed up?
