Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Persepolis closed her eyes when he leaned over her. When he spoke, she wrapped her arms around his waist. She answered, "I feel the same way when I'm with you." She tilted her head, giving him a kiss. She didn't need to say anything to convey her emotions at that moment. The touching of their wings and their physical contact with each other was enough.
Hector wrapped his arms around her waist in return once he sensed her on his. He smiled shyly at her comment, grateful to hear those words, before she kissed him. He smiled once she pulled away, realizing how much they had grown on each other in the last few days...how they had been so shy just to have talked to each other to suddenly kissing now. And he certainly wasn't complaining, he was simply shocked at how he had managed to not break down in a reclusive manner during that period. She truly brought out the best of him.

Luna seemed to have been affected slightly by his sudden suspicion of her, so she looked down as he looked upon her. She offered quietly, disappointed in what had transpired, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bothered you and taken up this much of your time.", referring to the hours they had spent talking. She truly didn't want to have imposed herself on him, and now she felt as if she had.

Alec loosened his grip on the slingshot, until his hand was just sitting loosely on it. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted so... upset. I made a bigger deal of you having powers than it is, but that is no excuse. No, you didn't waste my time." Alec said. It was a little easier to apologize to her than it was for him to apologize to someone else. He looked at her, letting her know he meant what he said.

Persepolis smiled back at Hector, revelling in the privacy they shared. She spoke quietly, "I'm really glad to be here with you right now. It makes me happy that you really want to spend time with me." She blushed, not breaking her gentle eye contact with him. Persepolis added in a tone of mild disbelief, "It's amazing how far we've come in so short of a time in terms of our confidence around each other." She chuckled, "Not that I'm complaining."

(She shouldn't know Persepolis. Persepolis was always hidden, nobody knew she lived there.)
(Okay!)

Eva nodded, smiling as well in a double joy for River's sake. It seemed as if the whole group was coming together to celebrate the birth of River's child. Eva noticed her sudden soberness, and explained solemnly "From what I've been told, it took them a while to forma a group, and in that time a few of the Aves died." While she wasn't attached to the people that had perished, she didn't know if Brid was, so she maintained that serious expression as they walked.

Brid took a deep breath. What did I expect? That they all were just fine and living in a heated, air-conditioned hotel together? She sighed. "Well, I'm glad to have ran into you. I was about to give up, though I was completely lost anyway. How have things been for you lately?" She said, desperately trying to change the subject.

Eva nodded, responding in a storytelling manner, "Well, it's been crazy. Horius tried to kill me, you remember him right? Tall, dark brown long hair. Anyway, he left me bleeding just to die, and then Lucas saved me." She hesitated, before adding with a smile, "And we've been together ever since." Her smile was sincerely joyful, a sign of what Lucas had meant and still did to her.

"That's wonderful! Not the part about Horius attacking you, of course," Brid answered, smiling. Eva's joy was infectious. "Where is Horius now? Why would he attack you?"

Eva responded more somberly now, "Banished for the second time. A loner, roaming the woods, killing everyone he can get his hands on. He tried killing me when I was still human, and he was eyeing me funny when I came back alive." She paused, before continuing in a slightly embarrassed tone, "I'm scared of that man. I've never felt so much pain, I just wanted to die, for it to be all over."
