I want to preface this by saying how absolutely awful I feel after seeing this post on Facebook. My story is that I picked up chicks from Meyer hatchery on March 23rd 2026. One of my Brahmas was having a case of poopy butt and I wanted a way to be able to distinguish her from the others so I sprayed blue kote on her. I had no idea how much would come out and was worried when so much was on her. Now it’s 2am and I just found this post on Facebook and comments say there is a lifetime egg withdrawal once blu kote is used because it is a known carcinogen. Did I just ruin this gals life? Have I know contaminated all the others (10 total) since they all huddle together. Please I need some feedback, this is my first post. Thank you in advance to any replies.
