Light Barred Rock? Better pics.

So, I asked yesterday about what I thought was an Amerucana, which turns out to be an EE. We have a few barred rock, and what I assumed to be silver laced wyandotte, but now I'm questioning it. They are lighter then then the other two, but No significant red in there combs or wattle( which are NOT significant, at this point) they are 6 weeks old, pretty much fully feathered. I've been told if they are lighter barred rock they would be roo's, but they have no red? There are 2 different what I assumed were silver Laced in the pictures below and 2 barred rocks? All cockerel? Are they even Wyandotte's?

Well, the Wyandottes look like Wyandottes.There aren't any barred Rocks. Rocks have yellow skin and barring, these have cuckoo pattern and white skin. The photos are a little blurry but I also see what appears to be a crest on at least one. Where did you get these?

There are 2 SLW, would the second one be a pullet then because it looks yellow? I definitely see how red the first slw looks. Didnt notice how red it was when snapping pictures this am.

We had ordered them from a local, I guess feed store. We ordered Wyandotte, Barred Rock, RIR, Buff Orphigton and Amerucana, which turned out to be EE's. The only ones I haven't had a problem figuring out were the RIR and Buff. I'll try to get some non actions shots here shortly that might help.

One SLW is a roo, the other is probably a pullet. It does not look like any are barred rocks. Like mentioned above, rocks have yellow legs, (or is it just the lighting) but the birds are pullets. Way to dark for cockerels. As they grow they may get clearer barrs.

They definitely do not look the cockrels in your picture. I haven't had chicks in 20 years. Could they a grow a comb that big in a week? Ours are 6 weeks old. I am so confused. When is the best time to figure out sex on them? Am I just trying to do this too early?

I don't think any of them are cockerels. The SLW males normally show some breaks in the pattern by now and more comb development than that.

I thought the "barred Rocks" might be cuckoo Marans until I saw a crest on one. Now I'm wondering if they may be olive eggers. Hatchery sourced would make that a lot more likely. I'm still not 100% sure by your answer whether they were ordered from a hatchery.

I think they are all pullets. Wyandotte females can get pink combs pretty early but yours dont show any growth. I'm not sure breed on your black birds either...maybe ask the feed store which hatchery they ordered from and send the hatchery some pictures.
