To my knowledge Walt Boese is no longer breeding light Sussex. neither is Sandra Ross in Canada .I rehomed my flock to Carl Thompson in Blairsville Pennsylvania . they are Walt Boese crossed with Sandra Ross. All pure English strains. I talked to Carl just last week. he has kept the flock pure. he has not strain crossed them . they are beautiful . Carl will be selling eggs this year . If you would like his contact information just PM me and I'd be glad to send it to you. You will get a message machine and Carl will call you back . he is an old-time farmer and does not have the internet. I got eggs from Carl last week and they are in the incubator now . Tell Carl that Karen Tewart sent you.

Thought I would try to revive this thread! Trying to keep my finger on the pulse of who is breeding and exhibiting Light Sussex in the US.

I do have some that I have been exhibiting and will be breeding this spring. I am unsure if I will have eggs or started juveniles this year, all depends on what I hatch for myself etc.

I won Reserve Champion English at Ohio Nationals 2017 with a Light Sussex pullet. Bred by Tina Bergonzini, Colorado (hatched from her shipped eggs)
