ROFLMFAOIRDK.... (I really don't know )![]()
X2I mostly use the like button as a general affirmation or acknowledgement. Sometimes a post doesn’t really need a reply, but I feel a like is validating the poster so they know they are heard and not being passed over.
Of course, I use the like button because I do like the post.
I would like to see a care emoji.
I thought I was the only one who thought this way!If the occasion should arise where I find myself looking at a post like a dog with its head tilted to one side - trying to understand, but the information is just not being comprehended - in this case I might not respond due to lack of knowing how.
Same.Funnily enough, I do check "reactions received" often, as I find it the easiest way to find the posts I've participated in to read new comments, or to reread what I've written and obsess over some typo or unnecessary comma I've accidentally left in and wonder if it would be weird to go in and correct it hours or even days after I've already posted.
I use the like and love buttons just as you do! Makes sense to me!Can anyone tell me if there has been a pole done to determine what members use the "like" button for?
I am interested to know if there is a general consensus to its meaning; or if the "like" button is, for want of a better word, "misunderstood".
I personally use the "like" button as a way to confirm that I have read the post and that I have appreciated the content regardless of whether or not I agree with it... but maybe I am using the button incorrectly?
...and I use the "love" button to communicate that I really liked the post, lol. If that makes sense?
I have made this following comment on another thread, but I think it appropriate to repeat it here... If the occasion should arise where I find myself looking at a post like a dog with its head tilted to one side - trying to understand, but the information is just not being comprehended - in this case I might not respond due to lack of knowing how. This happens more often than one might think, lol; especially when things become too theoretical for my more creative mind.
