Linear actuator HELP!

The positive from your clock goes to 8. Which one is positive? There are 3 red wires on my clock so I’m not sure.
The negative from your clock goes to 7
which is negative? I assumed the black wire.
The positive from your battery goes to 6
The negative from your battery goes to 5
You run a short jumper wire from 2 to 3 are these on the clock or relay? I assumed relay.
You run a short jumper wire from 1 to 4 same question as above
One wire from your actuator goes to 1
One wire from your actuator goes to 2
Don't worry about colors. You don't have enough different colors.

Positive from you battery to 4 on your clock
Negative from your battery to 3 on your clock

1 on your clock to 7 on your rail
2 on your clock to 8 on your rail

jumpers are on the relay, correct

On your last drawing, you did not have your actuator on relay 1 and 2

Ah, I had my picture wrong. Ok so it’ll look like this….

From my actuator the positive will go to #1 on my relay and negative to #2 on my relay. (I had it like that, but had drawn it incorrectly. Oops)
Jumpers from #2 on relay to #3 on relay and from #1 on relay to #4 on relay.

Then the positive from my battery will go to #6 on the relay AND # 4 on my clock. and negative from battery to #5 on relay AND #3 on my clock.

Then #1 on clock to #7 on relay

#2 on clock to #8 on relay

Thats how I have it wired per your instructions (unless I am just totally missing something which could totally be right) and ive tried to separate relays (received a replacement today) but its still not working. Any other advice before I give up and just fork our $300 that I dont have for a coop door. uhg.

A $10.00 multimeter would help...LOL

If you pop out the relay and apply 12 volts to 7 and 8 on just the relay, does it click?
not only does it click, but it clicks loudly, the little piece inside moves back and fourth and the whole thing lights up

Disconnect the battery from 7 and 8.

Connect the battery to 5 and 6.

1 and 2 should make your actuator move in 1 direction.
so with the actuator on 1 and 2, and with the jump wires from 2-3 and 1-4, when I put the battery on pos-5 and neg-6, it'll open. If I switch the battery from pos-6 and neg-5 it'll close.

Let's do it this way...

Actuator on 5 and 6 (relay rail)

Positive battery on 1 (relay rail)

Negative battery on 2 (relay rail)

Jumper wire 1 and 4 (relay rail)

Jumper wire 2 and 3 (relay rail)

Battery positive to clock 4

Battery negative to clock 3

Clock 1 to relay 7

Clock 2 to relay 8
