What kind of ducks do you have? If we had a bigger property we would do ducks. I really want a breeding trio of Ancona

We have 10 ducks right now. 4 pekins all female, 2 blue Swedish one male one female, 2 female reuans, one a breeding pair of khaki campbells
So there is a chance of pure blue Swedish and pure khakis but other wise a mixed breed when they hatch. Either way we are going to eat most of them I think

When I first put the eggs in I half fill the available trenches. Then I adjust according to the hygrometer. A hygrometer is a must! Usually I end up adding a bit more water in the first week to get it up to 50% humidity and just before hatching filling the trenches and getting 65% humidity at lock down.

So today is day 25 for the ducks and they are now in lockdown. I have 5 of the six eggs moving and we have heard a few peeps! The 6th egg is a day behind the rest so we are still hopefull for it to hatch as well!
Anything yet?
I moved the bator to my bathroom and the temp/humidity has not budged! So far this is a really boring hatch. Turn the eggs three times a day and that's it.
