I never had issues with humidity not being high enough :-(. But I uses a mason jar in the corner with a sponge in it. How has your temps been? I had to wrap mine in a blanket to keep the temp stable (guys my house is a bit cooler than the LG likes it) lolI just bought an LG 12300 last week, as a back up for my Hovabator 2370, which I love. My Silkies refuse to go broody and I have a staggered hatch in my Hovabator. Anyhow, I hate the LG so far! I cannot get steady temps or humidity, cannot get the humidity up, despite having a lot of water in my troughs. I have 4 calibrated hygrometers in the LG Bator right now in all 4 corners. Each one reads different! I’ve been fooling with it for DAYS to try to get it to stabilize. At this point, I’m afraid to put eggs in it. Frustrating!
