Been thinking about you, how are you and Jill doing?

Well jill is depressed and hardly does anything since jacklyn passed. But the stuffed duck in her little corral is helping a little bit. Me and my bf keep her company by taking her out and putting her on the couch to watch t.v. with us and she seems to enjoy watching tv. Soon as we move he may let me get some chickens to put in there with her.

It's good youre keeping her company. I have a Rouen duck, she would sit on my chest and watch tv with me when she was a duckling. I'm sorry she is depressed. Im glad the stuffed animal helps.
When your situation permits, you may want to consider getting another duck for her when she is old enough to be outside, or even sooner. She will need another of her kind for safety. They are very social animals and thrive well in packs. To be safe from predators, they often sleep in a row so the one on the end can keep a watchful eye out.
I'm not judging by any means, just sharing what I've learned. For these reasons, its why the stores have minimum requirements of six usually.
