Little help. My pekin duck is sick.

Shaking uncontrollably. Neck is drooping to the side. I know she is suffering. She was crying when I checked on her about 15 mins ago

I hope you get some help on the emergency forum!

I'll call in the some of the duck people.
@WVduckchick , @Ravynscroft , @Pyxis , @Miss Lydia , @Amiga , @CayugaJana .

Ducklings need feed with niacin at 25 mg per pound, so I think you should get some Purina Flock Raiser or Duck Starter.

The Niacin needs to be something other than flush-free or time release. Some people use a liquid b complex, some people use the cattle b complex, and other use brewers yeast or nutritional yeast.

Can you post a video of her? To post a video you need to upload it to youtube or vimeo then copy/paste the link here.

This may sound weird but does it look like she’s stuck on her back with her feet riding a bicycle sometimes? If she won’t eat I would try to get something down her while she isn’t shaking.

If she does look like she’s riding a bicycle sometimes, she is most likely having a seizure. And one of the best ways to prevent it is to buy the liquid niacin. Flush free is a no no. She will improve in about a week if so. Now how has her health been up until this point?

I’m sorry she is going through this. It’s heartbreaking to watch I know. I’ve seen two of my ducklings do it.

Sometimes she is barely breathing. And yes that's what she looks like. And every time I go to roll her over ahe shakes her head like ahe is telling me no. I'm just scared I'm gonna wake up and she is gonna be gone. I would upload a video of her but it's kind of hard to on my phone. It doesn't upload them to YouTube
