Thankyou very much for photoes.

Your peachick is male. It will grow into a huge colourful peacock over next 4 years.

I am unable to age your peachick, because your photo of opened wing, with ruler on wing, is too dark that I cannot see the tips of flight feathers against too dark background,
I'm very sorry.

Can you please photo the opened wing of your peachick again on white paper, but put the ruler on paper behind the wing, NOT on wing. Two photoes will be OK.

To make good photoes I turned my back toward sun and photo the things in front of me, in good sunlight = good photoes with light background.

So Little Pea a Male? What about the other one? and I'm sure Little Pea a Month old now <3 The Older one was born middle of June.

Hi EvyCrystal,

Peachicks can be sexed only if you hold two peachicks together and look at pattens on back and colour of primary flight feathers.

Male peachick have barred back and more orange colour on primary flight feathers.

Female peachick have plain brown back and browner primary flight feathers.

Ok, I 'm sorry about your phone, I'm sure you will have a new camera one day, hopefully this Christmas season.

I agree the 1st is a male second older is female. The young males have lots of barring on the back compared to the females.

Awesome Thats all I wanted to know! Glad to know I have male and female <3 so happy!!
Both are doing great and getting bigger! I'll post more photos of them again soon! along with my 16 chicks LOL!!!
