This was my next version - it got the chop as I decided it wasn't big enough, plus it had some temperature stability issues after I, uh, got a bit too excited with the modifications. Currently planning a fully 3d printed incubator.

It's not quite accurate to the original yet but here's my thread where I'm modelling my incubators, past and present, in CAD. It gives you a better idea of what my current one looks like. I don't have many good pictures.

I'm too early in my incubator journey to be thinking of building one, thankfully. The ducks...they're a problem. I LOVE scovies, but I know that I can't care for them as much as they'd need, and doing the necessary changes to the property might make it less ideal for my beloved chickens

Please do. You can build one for $40 or less if you get creative. I’d love to live vicariously through an incubator build

Building an incubator costs way more than that. You are clearly forgetting to add the cost of divorce proceedings…
