loading my incubator on 4-12...anybody else?????

Lockdown for me is tomorrow morn at 7:30!

so I guess getting to day 18 is an accomplishment! Started out with 13, down to by 1. Should I candle tonite? We candled this past thurs and of the lite ones we could see, they looked like they should except for 1. We left it in just to see but I'm thinking maybe I should candle again just to make sure. Is that ok? And should I have seen movement? We only saw movement in 1. I didn't know how active they should be at day 14, since they are taking up more room. My DH said maybe they all were sleeping. I hope so!

I'm getting very nervous!!!

One of the Dom x has hatched!

And 7 more eggs have pipped. I think 2 are Blue Giants & 5 are Dom x. None of my EEs have pipped yet.

5 chicks hatched so far. 4 are Dom x & 1 is a Blue Giant. I think at least 3 more of the Giants & a couple more Dom x have pipped.

Awwww, those pictures are so cute! This morning I found 5/6 eggs I set had pipped. I have a mix of bantams and I'm really hoping for a silkie or cochin frizzle!

I have two bantam , EE cross due to hatch, hoping for some cuteness there.

I have 14 hatched out now!

7 Dom x, 6 Giants, & 1 EE. There's 1 more that's started to zip, so I should be up to 15 soon. And here I was worried there wasn't going to be a single egg to hatch.

day 20 here.

3 hatched so far, the 2 bantam x hatched incredibly fast. Quite impressed with them little ones.

And a bunch more zipping away, quite a few are pipped.
One did have a zipper

, then stopped, I'm hoping he'll continue, it's an egg from my favorite blue hen. I only have 4 of her eggs in the bator, and am hoping they all hatch. she always throws me blue babies, fingers crossed they pull through for me.

hasn't progressed at all since I posted last, but, I've seen the egg move slightly, so I think he's just taking an extended break.
