yes it does have a fan I'm just worried as I saw online if the humidity isn't high enough then they could die so trying to find the best ways to help the humidity
Yea I have a hydrometer I just want everything to go ok just a big paranoid ,one last question for day 20 when I candled I could hardly see anything just apart from the large air cell? Is that normal the last time I candled I saw veins is it just because it's grown so much and got so dark that I can't see anything? ThanksDid you fill the bottom with water? And do you have a hygrometer?
You 'can' drop the temp a half a degree or so, but getting the humidity up is more important.

thanks so much for the support I'll make sure to post photos nearer to hatch day thanksI totally get your stress and worry.......Bouncer stopped really moving the last 4 days!!! I really had to peep and shine a flashlight into the incubator to get him to move....He rested for the most part....then poof, he was coming out !!!
You have great help....I wish you total success and can not wait till you post pictures !!

the air cell is visible and quite big but not perfect shape is that a bad thing it's not completely round and does the fact that it's mostly dark mean something bad happened because a few days ago they were very veiney? And perfectYes! Its the duckling filling the space. Although day 20 is a bit early for it to be total dark. Are you air cells nice and big? Should be like the chart below. And I know how nervous you are. We all go through it. That's why we help each other. If you get your humidity above 60%ish, it should be fine. 65-70% is usually what I shoot for, but these are strong little critters. Hang in there, you still have a ways to go!

thabkyou for your reassurance I was worried as it's Day 20 and could only see the air cell and the darknessThe only time I see veins at that point is if they have died. It is normal to not see veins now because the membrane will start drawing down and the body of the baby will be blocking visibility of the veins. So, you should only see a dark mass (the baby) and the air cell.
