You can dip their bills in the water and sprinkle a little food crumbs in front of them to get them to notice. They will start soon.

Gosh - I wasn't paying attention to the condensation. I'm thinking it has been in there since I increased the humidity on Monday. It may have been since the hatch though.

Not sure I can do anything about it. I've been adding a scant amount of water through a tiny ventilation hole so I don't open the incubator. That is how I've increased the humidity from 45/55 to 65/70 for lockdown.

The second pip has a really nice hole - about the size of a pea. These are tiny bantam eggs.

Do you have any recommendations?

I had to open the incubator and remove my hydrometer/thermometer. The chick that hatched was messing with it and I feared it would topple over on the chick or hatching chick. Chick # 1 is resting comfortably in the new chick box. It has pooped, eaten, gave it a drink and now it is lounging. Have the TV on for white noise.

Chicks are hatching, so I guess it's working. :D
My theory was if there is condensation, then humidity is too high, but that's just something I've always read, I suppose, so maybe its bogus.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes, as long as the other egg doesn't push the pip closed, they can still zip touching another egg.  Some say eggs touching even encourages them.
Ok I'm worried about the first little guy. He started at 2am last night and is still not out. The other one in the middle that piped out side pointing to floor is already out 10 hours later. When should I help the other one?

18-24 hours is not uncommon. For some reason, first pippers always hatch 2nd or 3rd for me. As long as you hear him, and see movement every so often, give him until 18-20 hours before worrying too much. And watch the membrane for any browning.

When do you generally remove chicks from the incubator? One hatched yesterday about 5 pm and I'd like to put it in the chick box with the other chick that I had to pull out yesterday (due to opening the incubatorto remove the hydrometer that was falling over). We have the 3 day spread.

The remaining two chicks are not yet pipping (that I can see anyhow).

The chick that was removed is doing fabulously. The one in the incubator that hatched yesterday is active. Just hate for the one chick to be by itself in the chick box. (it is eating and drinking)

Thank you.

One new comment. The chick in the incubator is rolling the two remaining eggs around. Egg 3 is pipping. Chick # 2 has knocked egg # 3 so that the pip hole is facing down - not totally underneath the egg, but headed that way. Should I take chick # 2 out and rotate the egg # 3 a tad so that the pip hole is facing a different direction?

Thanks so much.

LEARNING!! (again - it is the crazy person with the 3 day spread that has never used an incubator before....)
