What's locking down?

Lock down basically means you don't open the incubator and you raise the humidity, and it usually starts about 3 days before the eggs are due to hatch.

I candled mine a last time today a while ago think they all died back about day 10 right around last candle!
Thats the size they all are and eggs all weighs about 1.8oz. if that means anything.but i am keeping them in anyway in case.Only 3 more days until who knows...

Oh, I hope they're all right. But you're right it won't hurt to leave them in, just in case. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

Awesome, what a cutie! What breed is he/she?

Either pure silkie, or silkie cochin mix. The guy that gave me the eggs (found them in nests he didn't know his hens made) said he has a silkie rooster, and then he has silkie hens and cochin hens.

BTW these are breeds I have never owned before, the eggs are tiny, and this is the smallest chick i've ever seen. I was terrified to move it to the brooder box a few minutes ago. I mean just shaking terrified that i was going to hurt it.

Cochin eggs are smaller, from my understanding so maybe that's it.
