My first chick is out!!!! Yayyyyyy!!!

now for the question, it's rolling around the other one that pipped, I can't see the hole now (facing down) should I do anything?

It will roll around has it's trying to hatch. It'll be ok.

with the hatch of my new baby, it shot the humidity up to 88%, should I take the red plug out for the rest of the eggs?

Yep, take out the plugs, and keep em out. At least that's what I do on mine.

If you need to raise humidity a little you can put one plug in, and check it periodically. You can put the plug upside down over the hole, and see if that helps if the humidity shoots up too high after putting the plug in.

yay!! #2 is out!! It's funny the first one is all black with a little white spot on his chest, the second one was all yellow! I wonder if he's a boy!

I did put the plug back in to up the humidity when he was having trouble with the shell sticking to him...this did the trick. I took it back out so he could dry off!

now for 4 more!! I think I'm addicted now!!

Just keep doing that with the plug to lower or raise the humidity a little. It works with the one I have as well.

Congrats on all the fuzzy butts! Once again I have the world slowest zippers! lol I only ever had 1 chick zip quickly and his name is...of course, Zippy! Cute little black silkie.

I've got 5 out of 7 pipped. One started to zip and it was a little bloody. She rested awhile and has started again and no blood now.

I just got another pip. 4 eggs left, that I haven't seen much happening with. They are in a spot I can't see too well, so will just keep an eye on em.

Another chick is out.

The other is zipping now. The other 4 eggs no progress that I can see. I'll post pics as soon as I can move them to the brooder. I don't want topen it just yet. Some are still drying off.
