How closely do two chicks bond? I have a silkie and a d'uccle that have been together since they were a day old, they are now about 6 weeks old and are completely inseperable. They have been in with the "big girls", who are 3 months old, and still wont leave each others sides. The d'uccle can fly just about anywhere she wants, but wont go anywhere the silkie can't, and if she ends up somewhere else, immediately goes back to her. It is the cutest thing. Will they stay this close when they get older? The other 4 pullets were raised together and 3 of the 4 hang out, but the gray cochin kind of stays to herself. She is also the one who "stalks" the chicks, and I thought she was going to be the friendly one.
