Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

The youth of Brahmalot are chicken in more ways than one. The Royal Scribe was caught without camera to document the latest "crisis." This scribe was outside doing chores when all of a sudden one of the youngsters screamed. Instantly, six feathered children came racing around the side of the barn with a RABBIT on their tails!!! I had run toward the scream, and the children stopped when they saw me, figuring they were safe from the big bad bunny, who just stood there for a minute or so and then turned around and went back under the barn.

You can be assured the camera will not be far from this scribe's hand tomorrow!

My group will freak out from squirrels but they only eye chipmunks with a certain gleam in their eyes.

I don't know if my girls are unique, but they love to hunt chipmunks and other small birds. I am fairly certain they think the Juncos (who visit from lands Far North in winter) are some sort of arch enemy.

Sjisty, I have been lurking and enjoying your tale for over a year now, thank you for your creative scribing of the Kingdom!

Another sad day for Brahmalot. Last night, the neighboring giants came home to find King Cody dead. He was fine just two hours earlier. It is unknown whether he had a heart attack, a heat stroke, or if he was hit by a falling grapefruit. He had good body weight and no noticeable injuries.

RIP, big fellow. You will be missed.

Meanwhile, the circle of life must continue. The winter babies are growing big and strong.

Lady Rose and her twins are thriving, as are Lady Tiny and her child.

Lady Daffy has the newest crop of foster children, seven total.
