Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

There are a couple of missing citizens of Brahmalot. One was a young knight who was soon to go on quest and had not earned his name yet. The other one was beloved little Princess Marie, seen here with her brother, Donnie. I'm so sorry little one, rest in peace.
NOOOOO, this is terrible! NOT Princess Marie!!!! I am SO sorry fot you Sjisty. Your poor babies! :hit How can ANYONE be so stupid or lazy or whatever to NOT do a few simple tasks like feeding and locking gates!!!! [I guess I am ranting now too] :barnie And on top of it you PAID them [I am assuming] to do these simple tasks. It is hard for alot of us peeps across the US to go anywhere just because of this.....Again my heart goes out to you sjisty.... :hugs

R u sure she hasn't just got out and then is trying to get back but is stuck behind a fence, my chickens sometimes do, or did u find feathers, I just went on holiday last week and I came back yesterday and I got my neighbour to look after my ( too many ) chickens and then sent my 2 really young last batch Wyandotte hens to my neighbour down the road because he breeds wyans and when I got back and picked them up I did a trade with him because they were both Roos so now I have a breeding pair. But all mine were alive but my neighbour still got lazy :/ she left there doors open 24/7 because I found this out because I got back a day early and found them with there doors open at 2am :( including my broody and her chicks, grrrrrrrr

im hoping she finds her way home safely! But very sad news of any of them getting lost especially due to neglect. It makes it so hard to trust that others will care for your family the same as you would, im sorry it happened to such a great loving chicken mommy.

Meet Lady Buttercup, one of the many "oldsters" of Brahmalot. She came to Brahmalot as an egg almost seven years ago, along with two brothers. One brother went on quest. The other brother, Sir Gizmo, died quite a few years ago of a mystery illness, possibly due to an excessive heat wave at the time. Lady Buttercup, who was around four years old by then, mourned her brother and would not allow any king or prince near her. Her eggs became unfertile and remained that way for nearly three years. The neighboring giants still put her eggs in the nursery from time to time, hoping that one day she could have children, but to no avail. She would lay a distinctive extra-large white egg, so even though she shared her bedroom with many other Ladies of the court, her eggs could be discerned due to their beauty.

Suddenly, in the spring of this year, a few of Lady Buttercup's eggs started developing! These four blond colored friends of Mork are Lady Buttercup's children. They are a happy and healthy bunch, three young girls and one boy, who is going to grow up and look just like his daddy, King Samson!

Alas, Lady Buttercup has stopped laying for a while, but perhaps after she is finished molting and the days grow long again in the spring, who knows?
