I have two in my coop, One on each side, Do you think i need to cover with hardware cloth? They are screwed in tight and lock. The cloth i have is not wide enough so will have to patch together or get another larger roll, Wow, this whole coop remolding is stressful! thanks!

Does the window have glass in it, or is it open. ??? Are there predators capable of breaking in thru the window in your area? If it does not pose a danger, then skip the hardware cloth. Do you have sufficient ventilation otherwise ? These are some of the questions floating in my mind. It would be helpful to see pictures so you can get the best opinion, or advice.

WISHING YOU BEST

Yes, It has glass. We live in Up State NY with the deer, racoons ect.It is fairly sturdy but don't want to take any chances,, I have to learn picture taking for this site, Thanks for advice,,,

Pics would help...ventilation is important too.

If you've got good ventilation for winter you might be able to wait until spring to get HC to cover window opening.
