My first hatch!!! And they’re so PERFECT!
My rooster is an English cuckoo lavender Orpington and my hens are black ameracaunas... what do you think of these babies though? I got three different colors!
Two gray chicks, two black chicks, and a striped little buddy with an attitude.
anybody have an idea what colors they’ll grow up to be?
Pics are of a black, a grey, and the multi colored chick.

They look like they will be pretty! Hatching is such a fun thing to do and the best part is watching them grow into their adult feathers.

I see a black chick, a barred black chick, and a lavender (possibly barred)! Congrats on the new chicks, they're adorable!

I love hatching crossed chicks! Its always a surprise. I have two that I swore would be all black, just now at 4 months they have brown spots coming in all over! The dad was a lavender orpington and the mom a black sex link.

Well, the black will most likely be black and the grey will probably end up grey. The striped could end up being chipmunk. I don't know much about cuckoo and lavender genetics though.
