I will, gotta hit the shower right now. I'm hooking up with Pumpkinpup{Robin} and lockedhearts{Karen} tomorrow to get some eggs from Robin. Not sure what time we are meeting cause they are going to pick up a mare for Karen. Have sweet dreams!!!!

It's not so much about lack of space, this is a big house, but it's not mine! We also have alot of carpet and I think my mom is great to put up w/ as much as she does from me! Plus there are other people living here include 6 kids, and they don't all love the animals as much as I do (well the kids might), they just tolerate them. I don't want to push it any farther then I already do!

And it doesn't matter how much space I have I'll still be tripping over someone, everywhere I go I have my three dogs so close that if I stop they run into me. And Hilda to if she's out!

My little one has really really wanted a pig for a while now and I keep looking and thinking and thinking and looking but haven't taken the plunge yet. Sure would be fun so I don't know why I can't just take the leap. This thread is making it harder not to just jump in.

They are soooo cute!

Just go for it. I can't beleive I have two now. My youngest is still on the bottle. I have more fun with my girls. They are real easy to tame and very loving. Pitunia will be 4 months this saturday, Stormy will be 1 month this saturday and that is my birthday. I had no idea until talking with the previous owners we all shared that day. Tell me that wasn't meant to be.

Wow!! Pitunia is 4 months old?? she looks so tiny! I'll have to get new pics of Horton, he is such a big boy! I don't even know for sure how old he is! I think he's like 6 months. But he is spoiled rotten! Of course he lets me scratch him all I want, but he is scared to death of anyone else! I guess that's cause I'm the food lady

The food lady IS the most important person in a pigs life. Pitunia is doing great with her weight. I'm not worried about her getting to big at all. Now Stormy is rather stought. She screams for her bottle and YOU will give it to her. Today I cut the amount of fomula per water so I'm hoping this will help with her. The dogs are great with them although they will never be left alone with them. When I'm bottle feeding Stormy one of my dogs licks her mouth and head getting drops of formula off of her. Snake thinks this one particular dog is being protective of her but I had to inform him that she was protecting her formula droplet right. Rather comical to watch.

I'm trying to wean Stormy from the bottle now. She is only 5 weeks old today but will eat solid food quite well. I have her bottle very diluted so she doesn't drink as much as she was. Its the act of the bottle she is going for. She is so stought in her weight I am afraid to keep her on it any longer. She squeals for her bottle everytime she wakes up even if she has only been asleep for a few minutes. I'm hoping her weight will stablize out like Pitunias did. My girls have become the best of friends and always sleep together. They have both become quite famous in the neighborhood too.

Hey Shelley, have you gotton any new pics of Horton yet?

Hey Sara! I haven't gotten any new pics of ANYTHING yet!! He is such a cutie, I'm thinking of getting another one!! I can't believe I have went so long without ever having a PBP before!! I would have never dreamed I would have a pet pig, but now that I have one, I can't see me without one!! I'm sure I'll always have a PBP in my life!

It was so cute the other day. I was going to feed him, and he likes to put his head in front of his bowl so I can't put the feed in there. So I took an empty can with me to trick him into moving. He decided he was tired of waiting for it, and STOOD ON HIS BACK LEGS!! Just like a dog begging!!! He just raised up, nothing to brace his front legs on or anything!! I had no idea they could do that!! So my PBP has learned the art of begging!! I just love him to death

I'll get some pics tomorrow, he is surely a big boy!!

Wow, that is so funny. They are really inteligent don't ya think. You should get him a friend. Pitunia and Stormy are best buds. One of the dogs is trying to be the in there click but I think she is in it for the licking of the milk droplets on Stormy.

If one of the other dogs gets close to either pig she will jump in between them. Usually at night when I am kicking back and relaxing in my recliner I will have both pigs and the one dog cuddled in my lap. I've been calling them my family.

When I feed my girls I have to lock the dogs out of the room so the dogs want take there food. Stormy just has started eating out of her own bowl yesterday. It's so funny watching because Pitunia can not figure out how to eat all hers and get Stormys to. I love the head butt thing they do. Stormy at 5 weeks old will do that to my 80lb pitt bull.

I can't imagine life without them either. They will follow me around the house and all I here I oink oink oink oink.
